The kissing gourami (Helostoma temminckii) can be found from Thailand to Indonesia. As well as being a popular aquarium fish, they are often farmed for food in Southeast Asia.
Fun fact: Kissing fish pucker up not to show love but to make war! Kissers of both sexes use their kissing mouths for sparring. Even though they rarely kill each other this way, constant bullying can make a kissing fish die of stress. Watch below as two kissing fish do battle!
